InterNutra has been acquired by Hormel Foods

Timothy W. Tully of Tully & Holland, Inc. is pleased to announce that his consumer products-focused firm acted as financial advisor to InterNutra, LLC, of Cincinnati, OH, a manufacturer of gourmet frozen puréed food products for use by people suffering with swallowing difficulties, or dysphagia, in its sale to Diamond Crystal Brands, Inc. of Savannah, GA, which is a subsidiary of Hormel Foods Corporation. Diamond Crystal Brands is committed to providing great-tasting, innovative foods for individuals with special dietary needs. As a condition precedent to the sale transaction, Tully & Holland helped to negotiate for InterNutra’s co-packer, Campbell Soup Company Ltd. of Toronto, ON, an exclusive licensing right in perpetuity to market InterNutra’s award-winning, texture-modified foods throughout Canada.

About the client

InterNutra, LLC was a Cincinnati, Ohio, food company that produced frozen pureed and texture-modified foods, including meat, poultry, eggs, fruits and vegetables, for people with swallowing difficulties. The business and its InterNutra brand became part of Diamond Crystal Brands, then a Hormel Foods subsidiary.
