Grandmother's was the brand of The Whipple Company of Natick, Massachusetts, founded in 1899 by grocer Harrison L. Whipple and his son Lewis E. Whipple to make mincemeat. Known as Grandmother's Mincemeat, the company later added pie fillings, syrups and jams, as well as brandy and rum mincemeat.
