Cains has acquired Olde Cape Cod
February 2, 1999 - Tully & Holland, Inc. is pleased to announce its role as exclusive financial advisor to Cains Foods L.P., the New England based mayonnaise and condiment company, in its acquisition of Olde Cape Cod Food Products. Olde Cape Cod Food Products manufactures dressings, grilling sauces, soups, mustards, cocktail sauces, etc. for the Northeast.
About the client
Cains Foods, based in Ayer, Massachusetts, made shelf-stable mayonnaise, dressings and sauces under its own brands and for private label customers. The business traced its roots to a Boston cheese distributor founded by John E. Cain in 1914. Olde Cape Cod was a brand of tartar and cocktail sauces.
