The firm represented Brigham's, Inc. in the sale of its ice cream and frozen yogurt product lines to a subsidiary of HP Hood LLC, and in the sale of its restaurants to Deal Metrics LLC. Brigham's restaurants and premium ice cream have been fixtures in Massachusetts since 1914.

About the client

Brigham's was an Arlington, Massachusetts maker of ice cream and frozen yogurt sold in supermarkets across New England. It also operated a chain of full-service restaurants serving ice cream and sandwiches, which peaked at more than 100 locations in the mid-1980s. The business traced its roots to a shop Edward Brigham opened in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts.
