The firm represented Foster & Gallagher in the sale of The Children’s Group: Hearth Song & Magic Cabin Dolls to the gift delivery chain, 1-800-Flowers.com. The Children’s Group, a multi-channel direct marketer of children’s gifts and toys operates as a subsidiary of the specialty cataloger, Foster & Gallagher.
About the client
HearthSong was a catalog retailer of children's toys, crafts and books, started in 1983 when founder Barbara Kane mailed its first catalog from her home. It offered wood and natural material toys with educational, nature and art themes, and by 2001 it was part of Foster & Gallagher's The Children's Group, alongside the Magic Cabin Dolls catalog.
