Tully & Holland, Incorporated Announces Stuart Rose, 20 Year Veteran Direct Marketing and Retail Executive, Has Joined the Firm.
December 5, 2005 - Wellesley, MA-based investment bank Tully & Holland, Inc. is pleased to announce a development that will significantly enhance its ability to serve consumer product companies, catalogers and direct mail companies.
Stuart Rose has joined the firm as a Managing Director following a 20 year career as a direct marketing and retail senior executive with several middle market consumer product companies. Immediately prior to joining Tully & Holland, Stuart was President and CEO of Oriac Design Corporation, a home furnishings direct marketer funded by several leading European retailers. As President of Oriac Design, Stuart utilized his financial and marketing expertise to examine several strategic options for the company, including mergers, acquisitions, and financings.
Prior to that time, Stuart was Vice President of Business Development for Legal Sea Foods where he led the firm's direct marketing business. From 1997 to 2002, Stuart was a senior executive of Specialty Catalog Corporation, a $60 million direct marketer of beauty products and continuing education. As President of SC Publishing and Vice President of Operations of Specialty Catalog Corporation, Stuart directed the fulfillment operation, led the acquisition process of a strategic competitor, managed structural cost changes within the company, and led the complete turnaround of SC Publishing.
Stuart began his career with Edison Brothers Stores, a multidivisional national specialty store retailer. In addition to his business experience, Stuart is an Adjunct Instructor at Bentley College where he teaches Direct Marketing and other marketing courses. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Economics and Philosophy from Brandeis University and an MBA from Harvard University.
