Chris Kampe, Managing Director, Tully & Holland, Discusses $75 million IPO filed by Gordmans, Inc.
May 27, 2010Women’s Wear Daily quotes Chris Kampe, Managing Director of Tully & Holland’s Retail and Consumer Group in an article published in the May 4, 2010 issue.
The article discusses the $75 million IPO filed by Gordmans, Inc. with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Gordmans, a 67-unit off-price department store chain operating in 16 Midwestern states, plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including new stores. Chris Kampe comments, “The Gordmans deal follows Express, Rue 21, Dollar General and Dollarama IPOs. Specifically, they are either discount, value-oriented or off-price chains that have enjoyed strong recent performance and are riding the current consumer value wave, and thus have an appealing investment thesis.”
