Chris has more than 17 years of experience in investment banking and corporate banking. Chris joined Tully & Holland as a Managing Director focused on merger & acquisitions and financial advisory services in the retail and consumer product industries. Select consumer transaction experience includes the sale of a luxury bridal gown brand to May Department Stores and the sale of an athletic footwear retailer to private equity group Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill.
Chris has been widely quoted on consumer industry mergers & acquisitions in such publications as Time Magazine, HFN, Dow Jones News Wire, Mergers & Acquisitions Report, The Deal, and Factset Flashwire. Consumer research reports published include fashion retailing, urban retailing, convenience stores, and sporting goods.
Prior to joining Tully & Holland, Chris served as an investment banking professional with Grant Thornton Corporate Finance LLC for nearly nine years, most recently in the position of Director. At Grant Thornton, Chris was responsible for originating and executing numerous merger & acquisition transactions for middle market clients.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton Corporate Finance, Chris was a Vice President in Fleet’s Retail Group (then the 3rd largest retail banker in the U.S.) where he spent five years covering the sector. Chris is a graduate of Boston College's Carroll School of Management. Chris is the son of a retired fashion retailer and currently lives in Wellesley, MA with his wife and three children.
