Chris Kampe has nearly twenty years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Chris joined Tully and Holland as a Managing Director in 2008 to augment the firm’s expertise in providing merger and acquisition and corporate advisory services in the retail and consumer sector. Over his career, he has represented clients in retail, catalog, eCommerce, apparel, H&BA, sporting goods, toys, gifts & collectibles, food, and footwear, among other categories.
Chris has been widely quoted on retail and consumer industry mergers & acquisitions in such publications as Time Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, Home Furnishings News, Multi-channel Merchant, Chain Store Age, Dow Jones News Wire, Mergers & Acquisitions Report, The Deal, and Factset Flashwire.
Prior to joining Tully & Holland, Chris served as an investment banking professional with Grant Thornton Corporate Finance LLC for nearly nine years, most recently in the position of Director. At Grant Thornton, Chris was responsible for originating and executing numerous merger & acquisition transactions for middle market clients.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton Corporate Finance, Chris was a Vice President in Fleet’s Retail Group (then the 3rd largest retail banker in the U.S.) where he covered the sector. Chris is a graduate of Boston College's Carroll School of Management. Chris is the son of a retired fashion retailer and currently lives in Wellesley, MA with his wife and three children.
